1. Book enough time for your photoshoot
If you are not a professional model, it is very difficult to get natural and relaxed photos in 30–40 minutes.
This does not depend on the photographer. It depends on how quickly you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
From my experience, most people start to truly relax towards the end of the first hour.
That is why I always recommend booking at least 1.5 hours, especially if you want a complete and cohesive photo series.
This is especially important for couple photoshoots, engagement sessions, and wedding photography, where emotions and connection matter most.
3. We always agree on a moodboard
Before the shoot, I always discuss the visual direction with you.
This helps us stay on the same page and avoid mismatched expectations.
If you feel unsure about outfits, locations, or the overall mood, you can always message me.We will calmly discuss your shoot and find the best solution together.
This approach works especially well for lifestyle, couple, and wedding photoshoots, where atmosphere and feeling are key.
4. Choose clothes that allow you to move
Avoid very tight clothing, stiff corsets, or outfits that make it difficult to sit, walk, or hug.
The camera is extremely sensitive to body tension, and comfort always looks better.
5. Keep personal items to a minimum
The fewer bags, backpacks, and extra items you bring, the easier and more relaxed the shoot will feel. A light setup helps the process flow naturally and keeps the focus on you.6. Do not worry about posing
You do not need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. Guiding you through movement and posing is part of my job as a photographer.

7. Think of the photoshoot as a walk, not a task
The best images appear when a shoot feels like a pleasant experience, not a checklist to complete. Try to enjoy the moment rather than focus on the result.
8. Trust the process
It is completely normal if the first photos feel unfamiliar to you.
Very often, the strongest images are created during the second half of the shoot, once you feel more at ease.
